
Eight new countries, including India, will have access to the Samsung Wallet app
According to a statement from Samsung Electronics, starting in late January, Samsung Wallet will be offered in eight additional markets, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan2. Samsung Wallet was introduced in 7 countries in June last year. Later in October, Samsung said it was bringing the service to 13 more countries. Currently, 21 countries offer the application. For those who don’t know, Samsung Wallet is a secure mobile app that allows you to securely store and access your daily necessities.
Through a blog post, the South Korean giant announced the launch of the Samsung Wallet. The app will soon be made available in eight more countries, the South Korean tech company said. Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and other countries will have access to the app soon.

China, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK and the US were the seven countries where Samsung Wallet was first introduced. It was later expanded to 13 other countries, including West Asia, Scandinavia and Europe. UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Middle East region.

With a single swipe, users can quickly, easily and securely store and access important documents and identification, including bank cards, digital keys, travel permits, driver’s licenses and student IDs. The Wallet platform is guarded by Samsung’s security platform, Samsung Knox, which includes fingerprint recognition and encryption to ensure the protection of sensitive consumer data. Additional security against potential online and offline hacking attempts is provided by Samsung Wallet, which stores particularly important documents in a secure environment.
