GIGABYTE Announces AORUS 15X, AORUS 17X with 13th Gen Intel Core Processors and RTX 40 Series GPUs at CES 2023

Under the gaming brand AORUS, GIGABYTE has introduced its latest notebooks. The high-end gaming laptops AORUS 17X and AORUS 15X are equipped with 13th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 GPUs. Both gaming laptops are built for a maximum TGP of 175W, allowing gamers to play games at incredibly high frame rates. With a refresh rate of 240Hz at 1440p resolution for both 17-inch and 15-inch models, the new AORUS notebooks have significantly improved display performance.

The GIGABYTE AORUS 15X has a 15.6-inch display with a quad-HD resolution and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. On the other hand, the AORUS 17X’s 17.3-inch quad-HD screen and 240Hz refresh rate stand out. All displays in the AORUS series have been certified by TÜV Rheinland, which includes a series of demanding tests confirming low blue light levels and no flickering of the product. GIGABYTE’s software team also introduces the AI Eyecare function, which can adjust the screen brightness in time based on the ambient light to provide gamers with the most pleasant image. In addition, the displays have a wide color range that can accurately represent all colors up to 100% of the DCI-P3 film standard. They have an RGB light bar and a customizable backlit keyboard.

GIGABYTE AORUS 15X and AORUS 17X are part of up to 13th generation Intel Core i9 HX processors. The 17x has a 16GB GDDR5 GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, while the 15x has up to an 8GB GDDR6 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.

Up to 175W TGP allows users to play games with ultra high frame rates. Both laptops feature PCIe Gen4x4 SSD storage and up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM. With the advent of Advanced Optimus: DDS, laptops can now switch output modes without the need for any additional settings adjustments, greatly improving gaming performance. They have two fans, a steam chamber and WINDFORCE Infinity cooling technology for heat dissipation.

Windows 11 operating system is pre-installed on GIGABYTE AORUS 15X and AORUS 17X. All notebook models have a 99Wh high-capacity battery that increases mobility by allowing longer use. The notebooks support a maximum of three monitors and have comprehensive I/O ports. Laptop Thunderbolt 4 ports can deliver 100W of power.
