In addition to this update, WhatsApp 2.23.2.8 is now distributed through the Google Play beta program. The feature allows you to send voice status updates to a specific group of people that you specify in your privacy settings, according to a report from WaBetaInfo. These voice status updates are limited to the same 24-hour period as video, photo, and text updates. The ability to send voice notes via status updates will soon be available to some lucky WhatsApp beta users.
